Update on my Absence

Well, the house has been sold, to a New York Bank that is Affiliated to JP Morgan Chase...The one that owned our house....so we can't do nothing about it now....We can only stall them in court, but if we want too, that is another question...We are still looking around for houses....to rent....that is another hard thing...as most want a Credit Check and with the foreclosure it isn't turning out good....It isn't in my name, since me and Dusty aren't Legally Married....We call ourselves married, but we aren't...so my credit is good, but I have no income, and Dusty's Credit is what is causing us to not look good to renters...This is so stupid....how are we to rent any place if we can't get past the credit check..We've been in the house 5 years, and paid our bills till he was layed off in January 2010...I've got an job lined up, just waiting for the call....A new Supercenter Walmart is opening up nearby and I've already done the interview and drug test, just waiting to hear back from them.
Last few days have been really depressing! I was also going to an interview for Target, and the day of my interview, my car decides it wants to overheat...on the way of taking my son to school...there is no bus pickup here...so I had to find a way to get him picked up, since Dusty was at work...and he can't or we can't afford for him leaving work early...So I rescheduled my Interview with Target for the next day....I also had to take my son to his Appointment at the Orthopedic to get his lower back and legs checked....So Dusty's dad is letting me use his truck, so the next day, I take my son to his appointment....and come to find out, he has Scoliosis....that is what is causing his lower back pain...it is all because he had a Major Growth Spurt and the twist in his spine, is really weird looking.....different than the normal Scoliosis....So now, I've got Dr's appointments and physical therapy to take him too....and my car is still overheating....We think it might be a Blown Head Gasket...but if it is more...then I'm totally screwed..As I won't be able to work or take him to his appointments, or help in paying rent and bills if we ever find a place....So my depresstion has gotten really bad.
I wanted to give everyone an update...no telling when I'll get back to doing tuts, scraps or anything on here.

Well hon, I was hoping to read better news but it seems the gift just keeps on giving, and you can't return it for a refund.
I am so sorry to hear about your little one. I don't know what to say, other then I will lift him in prayer.
DON'T let the depression get to you. I know it's easier said then done, I have a couple of friends that deal with it all the time and it is a horrible thing to have. You just remember your little one needs you right now, and you need the strength to fight back. Don't let them win hon.
Have you tried going to a HUD in your area? They might be able to give you some advice. I know some landlords will rent to you if you pay for some months in advance, but not sure how the situation is in your area. What about Legal Aide which deals with this type of situation? Stay in that house as long as you can and sock that money away that you would have had to pay on your mortgage. This will help with rent and other things you will need. You would think the landlords out there realize that a large majority in our country are going through this. They don't have the good sense God gave to a knat to check your back payment history and notice that when your hubs lost his job, everything went down the toilet? Gee, wonder if anyone would rent to THEM if they were in that position. Idiots.
You and I seem to be going through the same stuff with cars. What with dealing with all this stuff the last thing we need are car problems.
You hang tough, when you fall, dust yourself off and keep going. Don't let the SOB's win.
