I just got fired cause I wouldn't come in on my day off. The boss came to my house bitching me out cause they have been trying to call me...Well I just went to bed around 12:00pm. It is my DAY OFF, I go to bed when and what time I want too...I am a 37 yr old woman...HELLO!!! She starts saying I am capable to come in today, I am like no I am not....I just went to bed, I mean do they really want me to hurt myself in the kitchen and cook from 3:00pm to 10:00pm by myself in the kitchen and using sharp knifes without sleep. Then she starts saying she needs a number to get a hold of me.....Like I need to be waiting when she calls...Hello, they have both numbers...the house and cell...When I am dead asleep in my bedroom I do not hear it....Cause I do not take them to my bedroom......I want to sleep. She then says, if I DO NOT come in then do not bother to come in the rest of the week....She will find a new cook...Hello they needed to find a new one anyway so there would be 3 of us.....So I am going to ruin them....these people do not want to learn how to do a business....I grew up around people in my family with businesses.....my grandmother ran a Resteraunt for over 25 years and she worked her ass off in that place....That is how I know how to work in a kithen....I worked since the time I could walk and take orders. They do not know how to roll their own silverware, believe me they don't....they say they don't...they do not want to learn....They treat us in the kitchen like turds floating in the toilet.....while the young girls out front are treated respectful....They are teenagers and we are adults....The place is Called "TWISTERS" in Knoxville....I have already reported them to a News reporter that takes complaints and the BBB. Oh and I walk to work....cause we only have one car and Dusty takes it cause he works further away.
